That innovative liberty led to a total improvement of the small apartment, which remains in a modernist townhouse from the 1930s. The space had formerly worked as the workplace of a little newspaper. “It was divided into small little spaces, and there were stacks of photocopiers, ’90s-period folders and desks all over, and the walls were purple,” states Marta.
Not one to dissatisfy clients, Marta dutifully followed their orders and did what she usually did: develop circulation, welcome in natural light, add classic herringbone wood floors, design raised millwork information (including her signature style function– a comfortable bed nook), and decorate with fine-tuned, trend-proof pieces.
Let’s have a look.
