
With the closure of its merger with Anywhere Real Estate now in the rearview mirror, Compass International Holdings (CIH) is looking to get all 340,000 realty professionals under its all-in-one technology platform. On Friday, the company revealed that Shay Artzi will spearhead this effort in his brand-new function as CIH’s chief innovation officer.
“Our objective is to automate the busywork and empower our agents to concentrate on what they do best: building relationships and providing the human know-how that technology can not replace,” Artzi said in a statement. “That’s how we help them grow their organizations more effectively than ever previously.”
Artzi most just recently functioned as Compass’s head of engineering. In this function he oversaw the launches of Compass AI and Compass One. He has been with Compass since 2021. He has actually also held management roles at IBM and Amazon.
“I’m confident Shay is the best leader to empower our real estate experts with innovation that assists them grow their organizations and better serve their customers,” Robert Reffkin, the CEO and chairman of CIH, stated in a declaration. “His vision is centered on building tools that elevate the entire community of real estate specialists and will continue to develop innovation that assists agents conserve time, grow their service and better serve their customers.”
Compass closed its $1.6 billion acquisition of Anywhere in early January 2026, forming CIH while doing so. The company has long been known for its representative platform and technology.
