was developed for a retired couple with the intent of aging in location with dignity, autonomy, and spatial comfort. Totally accessible, the plan is organized around a clear sequence of rotating served and servant living spaces, supporting both daily regimens and future care needs. “A visible rhythm of exposed CLT timber frames defines the interior architecture, bringing structure
, heat, and product richness to the experience of moving through the home. Though modest and barnlike in its street-facing presence, your home retains a quiet enigma. Its unique roofline exposes 3 sculptural chimney-like volumes that mark the servant areas. These vertical elements not just home supporting functions however likewise present light into the depth of the plan– from different orientations– brightening the heart of the home.”A sleeping loft for going to grandchildren is nestled into the volume, adding a layer of joy and connection throughout generations. This is not simply a house for retirement– it is a generous and future-proof framework for living, sharing, and aging with grace.”
