Text description supplied by the architects. A set of steel-structured pavilions found in a valley ignoring the ocean in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The short called for the revitalization and growth of an underutilized seeing deck. Reacting to both programmatic requirements and the existing typology, the style deconstructs the original gable-roof form into two distinct single-pitch volumes.
