LocalloopBKK: translating local voices into AI-led metropolitan style
LocalloopBKK is a participatory design tool established in Bangkok, Thailand, to translate neighborhood input into spatial proposals for public space. Produced by Prapawit Intun/ Participatory Citizen Laboratory, the platform integrates participatory research study techniques with AI-assisted style tools to support collaboration between residents, designers, and policymakers. The system explores how local requirements, ecological conditions, and social feedback can be converted into structured inputs for urban style. Through workshops, interviews, and neighborhood engagement activities, locals contribute observations and top priorities related to the areas they utilize. These inputs are then processed through a digital workflow that links qualitative research study with spatial style generation.
LocalloopBKK collects neighborhood feedback and organizes it into classifications relevant to public area design.
