
The American Academy of Arts and Letters revealed its 2026 Awards in Architecture receivers.
The Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Reward was awarded to Junya Ishigami. Four other awards went to Hervé Descottes, Ultramoderne, Keller Easterling, and K. Michael Hays.
Individually, Mónica Ponce de León was named as a recently chosen member of the historical New York City company established in 1898.
The Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize was developed in 1955. It has since expanded to consist of 4 Arts and Letters Awards each year to acknowledge “practicing architects and those who have added to the field through other mediums of expression.”
