In 2001, McCartney was said to have paid fellow rock star Courtney Love just under $4 million for her home in Los Angeles’s Trousdale Estates neighborhood. Love had purchased the pad in 1997 from none aside from the realty tycoon herself, Ellen DeGeneres. The French Country-style home covers about 4,700 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, and McCartney had already been leasing it at the time of the sale. Apparently, it was the website of Harrison’s 2001 death. Though reporting recommended it was McCartney who purchased the property, its title is supposedly held by Mike Walley, among his associates. It’s not completely clear if Walley owns the home in earnest, or if his name was used for personal privacy reasons. In either case, it hasn’t changed hands since.McCartney likewise has reported ties to another home situated simply throughout the street. That 15,500-square-foot pad was originally integrated in 1941 for Bert Lahr, who played the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. In addition to McCartney, it has apparently been home to Betty Grable, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. However, the information of McCartney’s time there are uncertain; it’s possible that he as soon as leased or owned the home, but it’s not currently in his portfolio.NYC penthouse McCartney and Shevell got a New york city City home in 2015, paying$
