The new flagship showroom of Ukrainian brand Gunia Project inhabits the ground floor of a late-19th-century building on a historic street near the Golden Gate– where old Kyiv as soon as began. After 3 months of careful browsing, the selected space revealed both clear advantages and noteworthy obstacles. Its prime area in the heart of historical Kyiv and its well-proportioned size operated in its favor, while the lack of natural light and rigorous requirements imposed by the landlords positioned substantial restrictions. For the structure’s owners, the interior forms part of their household history, and they insisted on preserving key elements– timeless wood doors, wall panels, decorative ceiling information, and monumental mahogany cabinets.
