What drew you to fighting?I skateboarded for most of my life. I got sober in 2021, and I wanted to be more physically active. A couple good friends were doing muay Thai in among their basements, and they welcomed me to come. I reviewed there and got my ass kicked. I was hooked. Any similarities to skating? In skating, you’re constantly falling and getting hurt; it’s tough and agonizing, however you keep trying. Which’s the precise very same thing with muay Thai. What makes you want to register for that?I believe it’s simply sort of how I am as an individual.
I can’t really do anything half-assed or just for fun. I always attempt to lean into things that suck and things that I don’t want to do and things that are frightening. Cool tattoos, by the way. Thank you. I got my back done after I began training. I was believing that even if I got
knocked out, if I’m lying there face down on the mat, then a minimum of my back appearances cool. Joachim Koka College therapist, East Flatbush Veronica Zheng Dermatology medical assistant, Coney Island Tell me what it’s like up there

be an important part of my life story. I’m an abuse survivor, so it was about finding
neighborhood in this sport; I didn’t expect to really get in the ring
. I just wanted to be a good sparring partner. Katrina Lee
