Health and construction brought the load
ADP’s figures showed personal employers added 62,000 jobs in March, with goods‑producing markets up 30,000 and services up 32,000.
Education and health services contributed 58,000 of those positions, while building and construction added 30,000.
Trade, transport and utilities shed 58,000 jobs and making lost 11,000.
“Private sector employment development was a bit better than expected in March, however healthcare and building continued to offer nearly all the momentum,” ADP stated in its release.
Small businesses once again led hiring, including 85,000 tasks, while mid‑sized companies lost 20,000 and big companies cut 4,000 positions.
