Designing in the historic heart of São Paulo needs more than simply fulfilling functional needs; it requires a dedication to both time and place. In the Downtown Nova República job, the brazilian architecture company Jonas Birger Arquitetos welcomed this challenge by establishing among the last available plots in Praça da República, a district celebrated for its architectural and cultural wealth and marked by the existence of icons of São Paulo’s horizon such as the Esther, Itália, Eiffel, and Copan buildings.
