PP Nutritional Expert Workplace is a compact adaptive reuse project located within a residential garden in Mexico City. Created by LANZA Atelier, the intervention changes a former laundry drying area into a functional assessment area measuring only 16 square meters. The project addresses spatial limitations by extending vertically, presenting a skylit volume that enhances natural lighting and spatial perception. A secondary roof drying area, accessed by a spiral staircase, maintains the domestic function previously appointed to the site. The style thoroughly stabilizes personal privacy and openness through a mostly enclosed main exterior and a lateral opening that frames surrounding vegetation. A restrained palette of mortar with pink pigment, wood, tile, and paint merges the area, developing a cohesive and soothing environment. The outcome is an accurate architectural action that integrates professional and domestic programs within a very little footprint.
The task positions itself as an expedition of how architectural intervention can recalibrate overlooked recurring areas within the domestic world. Rather than broadening external, LANZA Atelier magnifies the vertical dimension, permitting the small footprint to obtain spatial generosity through height and light.
