The job emerged from a concept that lay dormant for several years before being restored through collaboration in between the original Pyxis Nautica designers and Hi Wood’s design-build know-how, leading to a structure that is at once sculptural and deeply linked to its woody setting.

    Product Richness & Structural Clearness

Cast with rough-sawn board formwork, this imposing aspect connects materially and aesthetically with the home’s rigid geometry and enhances a sense of permanence and location. Photography © György Palkó & Márton Bognár The main structure is established on strengthened concrete, while walls and roofing are built from five-layer, exposed-quality CLT(cross-laminated lumber)panels. This combination of materials allows for fast assembly– three days for the main structure and a six-month general building timeline– yet yields an abundant tactile experience of wood, concrete and metal.< img src="image/svg+xml;
