
Rose-colored glasses The designers embedded soft curves into the interior– through archways and other architectural details– to separate the otherwise deep, narrow structure of your house. “Including these curves provides an impression of sophistication, especially when coupled with the mirrors we bought from Paris,” states Tilbury of the ground floor re-design. The dining room adjoins the kitchen area in timeless Victorian design, creating a fluid, convivial space. The living room walls, painted in pale pink and red with bronze highlights, are likewise embellished with interesting details, mirrors, and antique pendant lights. The little powder room on the ground floor includes material window treatments that matches the Green Pavilion wallpaper by Mrs. Alice. An antique pendant light finishes the vintage appearance.

Your home’s bedrooms and bathrooms are located on its upper floorings( here, a view of the principal bed room). Heading upstairs, one goes by the small powder space on the ground flooring. “We like latticework and Greek motifs, and here we matched the material used for the window treatment and the wallpaper,” states Hanson. In the primary bed room, the majority of the work involved updating the decor, starting with a custom bed with a fringe, drapes, and a chandelier to highlight the area. The designers likewise added a big rug, pillows, and other fabrics–“but it was the lights and the artwork that really provide the room its character,” notes Tilbury. The designers likewise updated the closets with an unforeseen creative touch– they added themes by artist Emma Stevenson, who also painted details on the bathroom ceiling (see listed below).

The primary bed room welcomes a highly embellished, vintage style.
