Sixth Yearly LIV Hospitality Design Awards Announces Winners for Impressive Style & Architecture

consisting of leading architects, designers, hoteliers, and industry professionals, meticulously evaluated each entry. The resulting choices show a broad spectrum of style quality– from immersive restaurant environments and cultural stories, to peaceful resort sanctuaries and ingenious spatial principles rooted in location and purpose.

YongLi Red Tile Banquet Hotel– photo © Chen Hao In the architectural category, YongLi Red Tile Banquet Hotel by Yuanhua Zhang and team of We & Arch was granted Architectural Style of the Year– Consuming Area. Found in Chongzhou, China, the task reinterprets conventional red tile architecture within a contemporary banquet setting, developing a vibrant spatial environment that celebrates common gathering and cultural heritage. Mandarin Asian, Costa Navarino, designed by Yiannis Romanos, Dimitris Karampatakis, Christina Fragkouli & Christos Spetseris, with Tombazis & Associates and K-Studio, got Architectural Design of the Year– Living Space. The resort masterfully incorporates into the Greek landscape, blending refined architecture with natural topography and regional craftsmanship to develop an immersive luxury retreat.

© Ivan Avdeenko/ Retouch: Andrew Shurpenkov For interior design, Gongu Izakaya by Liubov Tuzovska of Tdot. Style was awarded Interior decoration of the Year– Consuming Area. Located in Riga, Latvia, the project uses a contemporary reinterpretation of Japanese dining culture, balancing historical architectural elements with contemporary detailing and climatic lighting. CLOUDSPA Sanctuary, designed by Wenyuan Guo of Ruize Style in Datong City, China, secured Interior Design of the Year– Living Space. This serene wellness environment changes a traditional courtyard into a layered spatial journey, balancing volcanic stone, water aspects, and soft illumination to cultivate tranquility and reflection.

The Etherea, designed by Zeming Zhu of Art Center College of Design, was called Emerging Interior Designer– Consuming Space for its conceptual multi-sensor dining environment that merges perfume artistry with culinary storytelling. La Nopaleña, established by Mariaines Monroy Tapia, Fátima James Orozco & Mariajose Álvarez Aguilar, alongside Miroslava Petrova of Universidad de Monterrey, earned Emerging Interior Designer– Living Space. Rooted in Oaxaca’s cultural story, the task develops an immersive experiential area celebrating workmanship, custom, and sensory style.

“The 6th edition of LIV shows the amazing international evolution of hospitality style. With more than 600 submissions from 64 nations, we are experiencing tasks that not only demonstrate visual excellence, but likewise deepen the emotional and cultural dimension of hospitality,” revealed Astrid Hébert, Founder of the LIV Awards. “This year’s winners show how design can create meaningful, memorable experiences that resonate far beyond the physical area.”
