Back Road Store in Brisbane, Queensland
Set within among Brisbane’s most substantial CBD heritage landmarks– the brand-new Back road occupies the ground & mezzanine level of the former 1930’s Bank of New South Wales structure.
Cognisant of its historical context, the interior has been motivated by the conventional Queenslander & the warm earthy colors of the close-by Kangaroo Point cliffs.
The space is a dialogue in between past and present, protecting the original Bank of New South Wales stone counters, while also including brand-new timber veneer completes & light-weight timber battening throughout.
