
There’s something about the smell of the sea that contacts us to us. A briny froth caps the waves, signaling the turning of our world. The Tasca Table Large from FRAMA is made to be utilized anywhere, even outdoors– and even amongst the waves themselves. A wonderfully wrought satin surface takes charge, a subtlety that hearkens to the circulation of water itself. Also available in a smaller size, the Tasca Table is ready to host– ideal for two, 3, or four.

In the beginning, the Tasca Table looks like something you’ve seen in the past– a solid ‘x’ producing the base, a particular round leg, and a circular top. In simplicity, technical detail is obfuscated within minutia, for those who want to find it. Subtle however deliberate variation emerges within the hand-wrought surface, a graceful patina establishing in time. As the aluminum is left bare, signs of wear are natural and welcome, a sign of a life well-loved.

group to broaden their collection of aluminum pieces, including a sustainable lens to the job. As we dive into a brand-new period of the anthropocene, it
is
our task and opportunity as designers to analyze how we develop, and to design within the flow of our natural world, not against it.
