Tiny homes have come a long way, and the Goldstein small house is a fitting example of just how far. Designed by architect Sydne Goldstein and built by Nook Tiny Residences, this 225-square-foot home on wheels provides clean lines, quality finishes, and a clever usage of area, all for under $ 70,000. Remarkably, I discovered the small home on the Indigo River Tiny Houses site, which was obviously Nook Tiny Residences’ listing representative.
Mounted on a high-quality triple-axle trailer, the home steps 26 feet long with a 2-foot bump-out, 8.5 feet large, and 13.5 feet high. Its outside follows a tidy, modern-day farmhouse visual with natural wood cladding that pairs effortlessly with modern rooflines and a grey-green door, producing an immediately captivating curb appeal.
Inside, the layout is thoughtfully organized, including a generous kitchen area, a living room, a stand-up loft, and a bathroom. Unlike numerous tiny homes that open straight into the living area, the Goldstein invites you through a devoted mudroom. The space also functions as a laundry station and is ended up with a tiled backsplash that sets the tone for the quality found throughout.
A little ahead is the living-room with a convertible sofa bed, a wall-mounted TV, and warm walnut open shelving and trim that run throughout the entire home, including richness to every corner.
Next to the living room is the kitchen. The greatest emphasize here is a timeless farmhouse sink, complemented by walnut butcher block countertops. The kitchen includes warmth and character to the house. The area is outfitted with a thoughtful choice of compact devices, consisting of an apartment-size fridge, a drawer dishwasher, a stow-away cooktop, and an integrated microwave with vent hood.
A storage-integrated staircase leads up to the loft bed room. Unlike the cramped loft spaces discovered in many small homes, the Goldstein tiny home provides genuine headroom, together with a queen-size bed platform, a full-size integrated wardrobe with a coordinating nightstand, and a wall-mounted television.
Downstairs is the bathroom. It is elegantly completed with a tiled floor and includes a domestic flush toilet and a glass-enclosed shower with tile surround and glass doors, which adds a spa-like touch to the bathroom.
