Museum opens an architectural installation in Accra, Ghana, reinterpreting the traditional Japanese porch, or ‘engawa’. The task was developed in collaboration with New York-based art center Art Omi and created by TAELON7 under the instructions of architect Juergen Benson-Strohmayer.
Set within the skeletal concrete frame that houses Limbo Museum, which opened in November 2025, the task introduces a series of light-weight woven structures that improve the unfinished structure into a space for event. The intervention operates within a space that remains available to the aspects, where columns and slabs detail rooms yet the surrounding landscape stays present.

In the context of the Accra museum, the setup equates that spatial concept into a modular architectural system. Steel profiles form rectangle-shaped frames that hold woven strips cut from salvaged billboard material.
