Years back, Caroline Feiffer of Via Oltra shared a picture of a yoga studio. It was set within vaulted historical walls, pared back, and abnormally fine-tuned. The sort of space that would make any inactive person an immediate transform. It belonged to Parkhotel Mondschein, located just outside of Bolzano, Italy.
Owned by bros Klaus and Moritz Dissertori, whose broader portfolio consists of 1477 Reichhalter in neighboring Lana. Across their tasks, the emphasis corresponds: adaptive reuse, architectural connection, and interiors that favor product moderation over style.
At Parkhotel Mondschein, the redesign of the noted 1330 building was developed with Merano-based Studio Biquadra, led by interior designer Chrsitina Biasi von Berg. Midcentury references balance the building’s older bones– maintaining initial parquet floorings, high ceilings, and stucco while presenting refined finishes, dark woods, and a subtle thread of energy. Join us for a trip.
