United American Land, together with partners The Jackson Group and Dreamscape Retail & Entertainment, has unveiled plans for BKX, a redevelopment of the former Macy’s building at 422 Fulton St. into among New York City’s biggest and most ambitious retail advancements.

Spanning roughly 440,000 square feet across five levels, BKX will represent the biggest contiguous block of retail space currently offered in New York City. It has actually been developed for flagship retail, immersive home entertainment, hospitality and experiential concepts, the advancement team said.

“When we acquired this home, we saw a chance to reimagine among New York’s most iconic websites for the next generation,” said Albert Laboz, principal of United American Land. “Rather than pursuing a conventional retail redevelopment, we’re producing a destination that reflects how individuals wish to hang around today– uniting home entertainment, dining, retail and neighborhood under one roofing.”
