An Aussie mum has utilized an easy and fun DIY job to boost the value of her home, now her neighbours are doing the same.

In Sydney’s inner west, Kate Hudson just recently changed her Hurlstone Park home from an outdated cream and blue outside to a sharp grey and white exterior.

Getting the paintbrush herself whilst on maternity leave, the DIY results have motivated three other homes in her street to now repaint their outsides as well with an anticipated to include 10 percent value to the home.

“When we purchased your house in 2018, we loved practically whatever other than the front colour,” Ms Hudson said.

“I grew up with a home that was very much the exact same colour, it’s very old school and it didn’t give us pleased vibes every time we strolled past.”
