Photo: Bloomberg via Getty Images A federal jury has found disgraced luxury real-estate brokers Oren and Tal Alexander, along with their sibling Alon Alexander, guilty on sex-trafficking charges. It was an overall sweep for the prosecution: After three days of deliberation, the jury found the siblings guilty of each of the 10 rely on which they had actually been indicted.
The verdict comes after 5 weeks of dramatic trial testament in which several females detailed being drugged, raped, and sexually attacked by the brothers, they said, over a duration spanning from the siblings’ time in high school in Miami through Oren and Tal’s career as high-flying brokers at Douglas Elliman before they opened their own brokerage, Official, in 2021. Alon led the New York City branch of Kent Security, the Alexander family business.
Two women very first implicated Oren and Alon of sexual assault in civil suits submitted in June 2024, prompting a flood of similar accusations in lots of subsequent matches. The brothers were jailed in December after federal prosecutors prosecuted them on sex-trafficking charges, declaring they ran a fancy plan in which they tempted females with promises of high-end travel and experiences, drugged many of them, then sexually attacked and raped their victims. Eleven females affirmed about harrowing encounters with the siblings in locations like Aspen, the Hamptons, and Tel Aviv. One was 17 when she was assaulted.
The brothers will be sentenced on August 6, and each possibly deals with life in prison. According to Service Expert, they each shook their heads, saying “no” as the decision read in court. The Alexanders are still being sued by various women, consisting of Million Dollar Listing star Tracy Tutor, who just recently implicated Oren of drugging and attacking her in 2014.
