Join RAI members Tonkin Liu, Purcell and Jan Kattein Architects at Futurebuild 2026 for a series of discussions exploring what regenerative architecture appears like in practice hosted by Architects Declare and Architecture Today.

Architecture Today and UK Architects Declare are contributing to this year’s Futurebuild, co-locating with UK Building and construction Week, from 12– 14 May 2026 at ExCeL London.

On Wednesday 13 May, 14:45– 15:45 (Main Phase), we will be hosting a 60-minute session exploring what regenerative architecture looks like in practice today.

All 3 speakers are from practices engaged with the Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI).

Requiring to the stage will be:

  • Anna Liu, Director, Tonkin Liu
    Checking out Co-evolving with nature, demonstrating how natural systems become generative design partners rather than restrictions.
  • Laura Baron, Head of Sustainability, Purcell
    Attending to Being a great forefather, and what long-lasting custodianship means in the face of environment danger, heritage duty and financial restraint.
  • Jan Kattein, Director, Jan Kattein Architects
    On Producing a simply area for individuals, placing regeneration as a social along with ecological act.

Chaired by Isabel Allen, Editor of Architecture Today, the session will look to draw connections across ecological reciprocity, long-lasting stewardship and social justice.
