For years we’ve commemorated rising home costs in Australia. If your home deserved more this year than last, life felt a bit much easier.

But after 50 years of practically undisturbed cost development, we need to ask a more difficult concern: Is it really good for us if real estate simply keeps getting more expensive?
The answer, naturally, depends upon who you are.
